Heather Moller / Banquets: The contract was signed for the Carriage House and deposit was given. December 13th was added on as an additional date for the banquets.

George Kurtz / Web Site: Cheerleading pictures are on the website from Cheer Gym. All Cheerleading rosters and coaches are updated for all levels. Football signups will be posted soon, waiting for updated information.

Tom Germana / CMC Football: Some By Law changes were discussed at the County meeting. JV playing time was suggested to be 8 minutes instead of 10 minutes per quarter. Add a 5th quarter so substitutes can play. Ocean City wants heavy weights from Somers Point, Linwood, Northfield and Pleasantville. Time clock certification was recommended, one coach and one parent is requested. Dominic Branca suggested that we change ages on all levels. Will keep us posted on By Law updates.

Keith Transue / AC Football:  Atlantic County suggested some By Law changes. Unlimited weight limit for the Varsity level. To develop a Pee Wee All Star team. Keith and Tom will get the signup information out to the schools and also Bob Lincoln for channel 2 and the Current will also look into contacting the Press of Atlantic City. All coaches and Board members are encouraged to get the Coach’s Background checks. Some coach’s from our organization are still not on the list. There is also a Football coach’s meeting in April.

Lisa Angelastro / Booster Club:  We are participating in the Memorial Day parade this year on 5/25/09. Nancy Doyle is going to help plan this event. So far we have 37 businesses for the fundraiser card. We would like to have the cards before the season starts. Need to figure out a different way to distribute prizes this year. Need to let parents know at signups about the mandatory fundraiser.

Wendy Din / Treasurer: There is a balance of $10,825.88 in the account.  Total deposits $1,083.95 and total debits $2,005.29. The grades were submitted for the scholarship for Stephanie Pileggi. A check for $1,000.00 was given to Brenda Pileggi.

Nina Mitchell / CMC Cheerleading:   Tryouts went well. There is a position for a Taxi coach, Donna Kopesecki resigned. Paperwork for the parents to sign will be handed out at the parent meeting. Would also like to establish a cutoff date for signups - 8/1/2009. Handed money over to Wendy for registration signups.

Open Floor:  The locks have been returned from baseball, they have their own for the season. The cabinets are in and receipts totally $443.06. There was a leak in the stand and a problem with swarming carpenter ants, baseball paid the exterminator. There were also some boxes left in the field house from the booster club that had bugs in them.  Agreed to split the cost of a new hot dog machine with baseball only if it was Teflon coated. Baseball is going to look into getting a new one.  We must make sure all the trash is taken out of the field house after games and practices. Public works doesn’t empty these trash cans; this will help to prevent any more bug issues.
