EHTYO Board Meeting I Minutes from May 6 2009

Brittany Wood I Drill Team: Sign ups are rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12 & Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Field House.

The Drill Clinic is going to take place on July 28”, 29 & 3O Would like to secure a practice location on one of the fields. A parent’s meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 pm at the Field house. Looking Into getting some girls for the Memorial Day Parade. Signup dates will be posted in the current and on Channel 2. Keith Transue is also getting Flyers made for the schools.

Heather Muller: Not present! Resigned as Banquet Coordinator.

George Kurtz I Website: Would like to be advised if any information needs to be updated. Keith Transue is going to email the dates for the football signups.

Tom Gennana / CMC Football: Next Tuesday the new By Laws will be voted on. Nothing drastic or financial that will affect us. Ocean City is requesting that they are able to recruit kids from Northfield and Linwood.

Keith Transue I AC Football: Football signups are scheduled for Tuesday, May 18 Wednesday, May 19 & Thursday Ma 20” The dates in June are Thursday, June 18 Friday, June 2? & Saturday, June 20 at the Field House. All dates will be posted on the website. Need a check from Wendy for $200.00 for the Sandbowi.

Wendy Din! Treasurer: Beginning Balance is $10,825.88. Deposits -$18,596.00 and Board approved withdrawals $1,915.81. The ending balance is $27,506.07. A treasurer’s report was given for our records.

Would also like to give out cell phone number so that deposits and be picked up immediately so that know one has to hold on the money.

Lisa Angelastro Booster Club: So far have 42 sponsors for the fundraiser card. Flyers are going to be made for mandatory fundraiser, to be given out at signups. Would like to have cards available for when signups take place. Baseball purchased a Fryer, football does not want to use their fryer it is too small. The hotdog machine that was purchased is fine; we will use that during our season. The Memorial Day parade is on Monday, May 25 T-shirts will be given out at time of parade to all who participate. Need all emails and address updated at signups for football, cheerleading and drill.

Brenda Coholan I AC Cheerleading: Not present

Nina Mitchell / CMC Cheerleading: Turned over money for registration to Wendy/Treasurer. Need a check for a deposit for Camp in June. There are two payments scheduled for camp this year, June & July. JV girls need smaller uniform; there will be some changing around of uniforms to accommodate all the girls. The girls will only be wearing the warm up jackets this year. Would like to order jackets for the girls next year.

Bob Wright I President: Tony Savastano will help with ordering new jerseys and equipment. Chasity Branca offered to do banquets this year. Thanked Denise Savastano for stepping up and helping Brenda. Football meeting went well, the following were voted in as Head Coaches for the 2009 season. Tom Germana - CMC Pee Wee Marco Barrella - CMC JV, Dominic Branca - CMC Varsity and Bill DeClement - AC Pee Wee. Bill Mascuilli and Michelle Fisher need to make contact with Tom from Olympic Studios for picture information for upcoming season. The taxi numbers are low so far this year need to make sure have enough kids. Mandatory fundraiser flyers will be handed out at signups. Tony Savastano will be attending the scholarship award ceremony at the Fernwood School on June 17 still waiting for more applications.

Open Floor Chasity Branca has volunteered to sell practice jerseys at signups. Bill De would like to get a tackle box for first aid, will take to Bob Lincoln. Sharon Mitchell suggested getting girls fitted again for uniforms and if alterations are need bring to This n That Uniforms. Lisa Biacco’s daughter needs a skirt this season, may have to get altered again.

 

The next meeting will be he June 1 2009 at 8:00 p.m.
