EHTYO Board Meeting / Minutes from August 2, 2006

The minutes were reviewed and approved with one change from July 5th.

Coordinator’s reports: Tony Savastano / ACFB: Need list of all coaches from each head coach with cell phone numbers and shirt sizes for coaches shirts. ACJFL meeting on Thursday, August 3rd, should have finalized schedule for Atlantic County. 1st game is an exhibition game vs. AC Dolphins at home on Saturday, September 2nd. Practice field locations were announced and of course subject to change when all teams are out here the week of August 14th.

Jay Gross / CMCFB: Announcements were made to recruit Taxi cheerleaders for CMC. Carol offered some mascots from Drill Team. There is a mandatory coaches dinner on August 8th $275 approved by the board for 11 coaches to attend.

Nancy Doyle / Booster Club: Fundraiser is being distributed. $964 in account gave Tammie Vespertino a check for Pepsi and to get the stand started. Tammie gave Jay Gross a key to the refreshment stand for him to use on nights it is not open. We will have drinks to sell when it is closed. Mike Adams & Vinny Jiacopello offered to pick up drink orders from Sam’s for the stand.

George Kurtz / Web site: Everything is fine, he added Jennifer Germana as Taxi Cheerleading coach for CMC.

Brenda Coholan / Cheerleading: Practice began this week at the Middle School due to the heat. Cindy Hendrickson would like to get medical release forms from the Recreation Department for the parents to sign. A cheerleader passed out tonight and 3 phone calls later, the father came and picked her up from the Middle School.

Brenda Coholan / Treasurer’s Report: The balance is $40,833.52

Karen Wood / Banquets: There will be 2 banquets on Sunday, November 26th, December 3rd, and December 10th. She will get prices from Great Bay CC and the Clarion.

Cindy read J. Kern’s video proposal for a flat rate of $2,260.00. The Board met after the general meeting and approved his proposal for

Cheerleading.

President’s report: (1) portable pottie will be available at the practice fields. Lamarr will do AC & CMC football games this fall for $30 per

game. 3 football equipment invoices were read and approved by the board after the general meeting, ($3,640.50, $1,120.38, and $2,630.34)

Tony will pick up the 1st shipment of practice jerseys on August 7th and also order coaches shirts. Mike Kopistecki showed samples of his picture packages he will be taking this season.

Under Open Floor: Jessica Avellino stated that Shane Ireland is leaving EHTYO and going to PAL. She would like a refund of $55. The Board tabled this decision. Kevin Garone was approved a refund of $35 due to anxiety attacks, and Randy Canella was approved a $55 refund due to the family moving out of town.

Mike Adams would like to have a plaque made for the Jabier’s for going above and beyond with additional money that they donated towards the Pee Wee jackets. The Board approved this request.

The Next Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 16th, 2006 at 8pm.
