Wendy Din Treasurer: Ending balance $19,582.96 as of
George Kurtz Web Site: Updated pictures from football camp. Cape &
Atlantic football schedules are updated on the web site. Received
a $20.00 donation from Kevin & Dawn Curtis in memory of Harvey Ireland.
Will post on the web site. Is
working on puffing a store together on the web site for the booster club.

Keith Transue AC Football: Chin straps were ordered should be in this week.
Small thigh pads should be here by Friday. Signups are still coming in for
Varsity and JV Levels. Gave signup money to Wendy Din.
Resigned as AC Football coordinator effective immediately.
Brenda Coholan ! AC Cheerleading: Need a check for
camp that is going to take place this weekend, also need a check for custodial
fees. Everything is ready to go for camp the girls all received their camp
gear.

Lisa Angelastro! Booster Club: Thanked Bill Shaw from public works for coming out
and power washing in front of the sand and fixing the picnic tables. The stand
is open as of August 4th The ice machine is not working again, requested a
check in the amount of $80.00 (supplies) for Keith Transue, who fixed the ice machine
the first time. (Bd. Approved) Asked all head coaches to make sure they have
very reliable team mom’s this year and they must check the website for updated
information, it will make everything run much smoothly and less confusion. The
parents are required to do stand duty, two practices and only one game this
season.
Parents
will have to contact team moms to sign up for stand duty. The
Bd. Approved $600.00 to be spent on a new hotdog roller and $1,600.00 for a new
electric fryer. Dominic Branca will be helping with the purchase of the
hot dog grill. The fundraiser cards have to be printed again there was an error
in the way they were printed. Will keep Board updated on the progress of the
cards. Need forms from the head coaches so that the master roster can be
updated for the fundraiser. If a player does not fulfill their mandatory
fundraiser obligation, they are not permitted to attend the banquet. If they
want to attend the banquet there is a $50.00 charge. (Bd. Approved penalty)
Bob Wright! President’s Report: Looking for donations for a new or used ice machine
for the stand. $98.00 for yearly fee for post office box (Bd. Approved) Need
all head coaches to send a list of all coaches who volunteer in the
organization and send it to Bob Lincoln for Volunteers Day, please do ASAP!!.
Everyone is responsible for their own teams. Three refunds requested; $40.00
for yearbooks, $55.00 refund for taxi football and $55.00 refund for pee wee
football (Bd. Approved) all written requests were given to Wendy. Wanda from
the Rec. Commission is requesting a key for the stand; they need to get in for
inspections. Lisa Angelastro will be taking care of this.
The
football camp is going very well, great turn out!! Uniforms can be issued to
all levels except varsity; they are still waiting for the jersey’s to come in.
The EHTYO kickoff is set for August 28th from 6-Bpm. must make sure all coaches
are certified and are on the coaches list posted on the website. Would like
parents and coaches to utilize the web site for all updated information, great
resource! Tom Germana is going to be ordering cones (Bd
Approved) for football and larger cones for Drill. A safety issue was brought
up again about Drill team practicing in the parking lot. A suggestions was made
renting lights for the fields in the back, right now the Board approved cones
to be placed in the parking lot to help with directing traffic. Keith Transue
resigned as AC Football Coordinator Elmo is going to be assuming the duties
until a new coordinator in voted in. Tony Savastano was nominated, but declined
nomination.
All
coaches must make sure that the equipment room is locked all times unless a
coach is in the room with the parents/players. The room was left open tonight
and some parents were into the equipment. Only coaches are permitted in the
room! The Board members will meet every third Wednesday of the month. The
booster club is now handling the stand money and is responsible for paying the
Sam’s bill in a timely matter. An EHTYO Stand Report will be given at each
board meeting. Would like to keep a good relationship with baseball, there was
apparently a conflict regarding the use of the equipment. The score board and
sound system need to be tested prior to the first games. Need a schedule for
the second string games. Need to make a decision about who will be video taping
the games this year. We need to get volunteers or we need to make a decision
about using Lamar. Atlantic Varsity and JV will be participating in a Football
fundraiser scrimmage on the weekend of the 28th.
Open Floor: Bill Warrell is now serving as our liaison for the
Rec. Commission. All requests for the use of the Community Center must go
through the proper channels. Must make a request a monthly
board meeting for the use of the building. The commission will either
approve or deny and request. Tom Kern suggested that we might consider using
